NEED AN ENGINE HARNESS FOR AN E-BODY QUICK!!!!
« on: February 05, 2006 - 07:48:09 PM »
No thanks to a repair shop here someone cut a wire on the engine harness from installing an MSD box and it finally shorted out and fryed the engine harness in my Cuda. I have a 1971 Plymouth Cuda with a 1970 440 single holley carb. The ignitions is all MSD box, coil, and distributor. I need help in finding an engine harness. YearOne has one that I think will work for about $135.00 + shipping and I know there high on there prices so id like to get a lil help finding before this next fri. So does anyone know where I can get an engine harness that will work for me thats reasonable on price before this fri.????

I went with all YO harnesses...can't say enough about them.
The best product we got from Year one was their harnesses.

Other wise you could try www.painlesswiring.com

The $135 harness is for the CC electronic ignition harness.  The harness without the CC electronic wiring is less than $100 with your Moparts discount which is a great price for a harness with lots of modern upgrades to it compared to the other harness manufactures.  Order it on line and shipping is very reasonable.

You could try Evans Wiring.  I haven't use them, but there are others on the board that have used them.

I called Evan's on Chryco's recomendation.  They told me they make all of the wire harnesses that all of the big companies sell.  They quoted me $115 for my 340 with a six pak (which has to be custom made).  The only downside is that you have to mail them a check because they don't take credit cards.  Thanks for the reminder, as my motor will be done by this weekend!

If it isn't too late, I go through these folks for my wiring stuff. The quality of thier harnesses is superb. I bought them for my car.

I messed up on the URL. I go through Evans. I buy from them at Carlisle. You will not be disappointed.
