    Or do the Rolling Stones need to retire?  They are REALY showing their age.  :(

    Now, I think I'm gonna put on some classic Stones songs, and try to forget the horrible halftime show.... :walkaway:

    I agree, they do need to retire. At least they didnt expose themselves on national TV and cause weeks of controversy and the banning of Pink Floyd's "Money"......god I hate Janet Jackson.

    Na...I hope they keep going...One of the only bands (also AC/DC) who live by my moto: Rock till you drop. If they love what they do, and have the glory days up their sleeves good on them!!! why not. If not for the fans for themselves. They proved themselves years ago....enjoy life, that's what it's about.

    The lyrics contain the word "bull$hit".....it wasnt a problem untill the Janet Jackson incedent and then all of a sudden it couldnt be played on the radio. Clevelands classic rock station rarely plays it and they say "radio edit" when the word "bull$hit" comes on..basically ruining the song. Just in case you were wondering where the bull$hit is here are the lyrics

     Yea I thought the stones sounded very tired. I agree with NZ though, if they enjoy it and it keeps them going then have at it, BUT I don't think they belong playing at the Superbowl halftime show anymore. Now if it was AC/DC they would have ROCKED the PLACE!!  :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

    Retire might have been too harsh, but the halftime show was HORRIBLE.

    thanks Killer, i had noticed that that was censored now, but i didnt realize that it was connected to that. I dont think i hear that song on the radio as much as i used to either, of course i dont listen to the radio as much at school either.

    It MIGHT have been a little better if the sound guys had the time to get the sound adjusted right.  Couldn't hear some stuff, and some stuff was too loud.  But hey,  I hope I can just WALK at 60+ years old.    :cooldancing:   ....Oldschool

    First i just say Bon Scott(i dont need 2 say more). Money is sure a good lyric, but hey it was relaced like 76 or someting. The only dude thats funny in the Stones is Keith Richard, that he is still alive is a f...... miracle :cheers:
