Just out of curiosity...... ???
Was FM3 offered as a colour choice for mopars that wern't e bodies? A guy that did some work on my Challenger reckoned he couldn't drive a car that colour as it was.....well, unmanly :faint:
Personally I think thats bullsh*t but I'd be interested to know what other people think :feedback:
Cheers Paul

spring only 1970 COLOR I have seen it on darts, challengers, cudas, road runners and a 70 charger.  FM3 also equals more green when it comes to buying or selling!

Some 71s were also painted fm3, but I think only B bodies were painted pink in 71.

FM3 is a 1970 model year only color.

I've seen several 70 runners in FM3, and even a few Chargers. More Dusters, Cudas and Challengers than B-bodies, at least from what i've seen, but i dont have the production numbers on hand.

To be honest, I personally would never drive a pink car, then again I'm not into Pink...don't have pink curtains, bed spread, clothes.......just doesn't appeal to me and IMO doesn't really scream "muscle".

But, I don't hate them at all....just would never own one.  :grinno: If you like it...go for it!!!

many, many years ago, I read in a MOPAR Magazine the  FM3 production was less than 1% of total production....that was as close as it could be pinned down...I owned 4 FM3 T/A Challengers thru the years and went to buy a FM3 AAR CUDA, but the car was not what it was cracked up to be, so I passed...there is a 70 Pink Road Runner  a few miles from my house, and there used to be a 70 FM3 Duster, but it sold a few years ago...

I always liked the pink, it got more attention at car shows than any MOPARS I ever owned except winged cars....

FM3 rocks in my book, I've never owned one, but if I'm able to find/get that 71 Demon or Duster, she will be P I N K, and she will be built to kick ass too !  :clapping:
