Here's a rare-optioned '70 Charger R/T:  He owns two of the FM-3 '70 R/T's ever produced. (low production numbers)
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.

Thanx for all the replies people, I can tell it's one of those topics that people have definite opinions on!
At the end of the day all the high impact colours that Chrysler offered shouted LOOK AT ME!!! and are a product of their time as much as anything. It's just funny that you seldom see people arguing as to whether red, green or white make you or your car tough.  :ylsuper:

NZ you crack me up,  let me tell you it doesn't hurt with the girls!, I can't tell you how many times girls flock to the pink panther when it is at shows or on the street.

so I ask you what about pink? :droolingbounce:

LOL  The ladies man eh!! -------->  :bigshades: :naughty: :lol2:
You know deep down the only reason they flocked to your car is because it's built by Ma MoPar!  :swaying:

well NZ, gotta tell you ma mopar doesn't hurt!  I think actually go mango is the same way. they are 2 colors that do not have a chrysler code listed that I have seen anywhere. for instance B5 blue was AY2EE5, Go mango and panther pink did not have a chrysler code, good news....only cost $14.00 more for one of the High impact colors in 70.

Good question mate......It definitely helped seeing it in white before the resto....
I was 50/50 at one stage going back to B5 Blue, but in the end followed my heart, not correctness.
I only gave B5 Blue a thought because it was correct, but down here in New Zealand no one gives two craps. lol

I'd say yes I would have painted it white (PW7) love white and have owned 3 different white cars.
Black would be my second choice and for a 70 Cuda I couldn't go past Limelight.....

Yeah I like the lime colour too, it was a bit of a toss up between that and panther when I decided to change the paint on mine. Have you seen that supercharged lime Challenger around Wellington?  :burnout:

Hey NZ, I'll use a line from AC/DC....sink the FM3!!!     :roflsmiley:

I cannot recall ever seeing a factory 71 FM3 car? Does anyone have any pics of a real 71 fender tag or broadcast sheet with FM3 on it?

Look on www.pantherpink.com

I think they have a pic of a 1971 FM3 car with fender tag.  I think you could special order the color if the first few months of production for 1971.
