How do we get our cars considered for inclusion in the 2007 calendar, anyway? I'd like to submit mine, but not quite sure how to do so :dunno:

When are calendar makers get ready to tackle 2007, I'm sure the rules will be posted.  Last calendar rules stated you had to have at least 50 posts and you had to own the car you are submitting.  Then there are rules for the quality and format of the picture you are submitting.  I believe there will be alot of beautiful cars in this years entries!!   :worshippy

What about the honorable mentions?  There were some very worthy cars in there that deserve to have a month (not mine, not till after the bodywork at least).

What if the cars have had changes made since?

I'd say we'd take it by driver appearance.  :dunno:

I would like to see a "Diamond in the Rough" page, maybe on the back or on the inside back cover with pics of member's cars that are in their current state of restoration.  I would like to see a car go from rough to a show car or great street car in the span of a few years on my calendars.

Just an idea,

Well I really had nothing to do with the calendars so not sure I'm qualified to answer any questions . . but I believe you have all summer to aquire a good pic of your car!!  Then sometime at the end of the year, a contest/vote will take place and a 2007 calender will be made!

We haven't made any decisions on the rules for next year's calendars.  It's really all about the quality of the photo. I'm kind of tempted to let anyone who is eligible participate again and let the votes speak for themselves.  If you have an opinion about not allowing those in last year's calendar be in there again (with different pics of course)...vote accordingly. I, personally, will not be submitting a pic as I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to force my way back in the calendar.  I just believe it's all about the quality of each photo...which will yield a quality calendar.   But, we can toss this around some more.

I will definately start earlier in the year this time around as we were really pushing it to get them out for Christmas.  This year I would like to start in September, so don't wait around to take those gorgeous LARGE pictures! I believe we can still use the same qualification rules as last time.

Didn't kudakidd make a phototips thread?  Would it be possible to sticky that, as a reference to taking quality pics?
