Challenger SE complete description?
« on: February 09, 2006 - 11:01:25 PM »
I look at my SE and see the obvious SE options...small window, overhead console, leather etc.
Then I look at some of the trim and wonder..is that part of the SE pkg. or ?
Is there a complete list/description of SE specific pieces somewhere? (so I can tell if I'm missing anything :dunno:)

Beside what you listed, this is what I can think of off the top of my head. For interior, everything you said plus the headliner and the door panels, more specifically the carpet at the bottom of the door panels. For exterior, all the trim that goes around the top of the doors and across the hood, the rear filler panel, and the front valance moldings...ohh and those SE emblems :lol:

yes that does help Barry, Thanks. So far I don't think mines missing anything.
So, ONLY the SE have the hood/fender edge trim towards the windshield and the trim around the opening in the front valence?
these trim pcs. look good on these cars imo.

They could have been ordered on any car, but were standard with the SE package.

Couldnt agree more  8)

Those moldings were available seperately as code A63 on any Challenger or Challenger R/T. They were not available on the T/A. Here is the A63 info;

The belt molding is the trim on the top of the door.  Don't know why they call it that though.  :dunno:

It is a window plug that fits into the regular challenger window opening. All SE's have vinyl tops to cover this plug.

Sill (rocker) moldings were a seperate option.

The belt molding are called that because if you are standing next to the car, they are about the same level as your belt.

It is easier than saying "beer gut moldings".  :cheers:

Barry, were the rocker moldings standard on an RT/SE or optional. Mine does not have them nor is there any evidence of them ever being there. Thanks.

I once owned a HEMI RT/SE with Houndstooth Interior instead of leather....it had a $49 credit on the window sticker....
