Unfortueately, mice love chewing them up!  :swear:

Killer, could it be S81? I checked the SE sheets I have here, they both show S81 which is the std. steering wheel.

Anybody else?  :1zhelp:

Thanks,
Barry

Yeah it very well could be and is. I couldnt make it out because my springs left a mark on it, I thought it was a 6 or an 8. I am positive that it was a "1" stamped under it.

So does that mean that it was soppose to be standard equipment and was dropped before final production on the SEs???

I feel better now...I just looked at a dozen+  RT/SE's & SE's for sale ranging from normal to six figures price tags....none had the 1/2 ring. Most had the std. w/ a few r.blo's.
Did they even make the 1/2 ring? anyone out there have one?

The rocker molding does look cool  :ylsuper:, but I don't see any signs that my car ever had 'em..

Yeah, I have one on my SE.   see sig pics here.   My understanding is that only the early '70 SE's have the "half-ring" wheel.

The Tuff wheel was not available until 1971?

Robb, how early is your SE? One of the broadcast sheets I have that shows the S81 wheel is from 912.

Thanks,
Barry

My SE doesnt have that steering wheel either.   Then again like most others I dont know if somewhere along the line the original steering was taken off.
