Did Your E-Body Help You Get A Date Or Significant Other?
« on: February 11, 2006 - 01:28:17 AM »
Okay, this might be the wrong forum, but I've always wondered what women think of E-Bodies? Did your E-Body really help you get you a female; a significant other or date? I know the Charger Board has a similiar topic so I thought this would be interesting for us E-Body folks. Pour on your stories and opinions. Cheers.

Redline and I were married long before we started on the chally.  However, we have had many, many wonderful "date nights" working on the car together.  I'm a little scared of when Pixie gets her car done....dad might not be able to handle it!

Back in 77, I was 17, My GF at the time was with me on Christmas Eve night. We had no place to go to "share our private moment together." So we went to a shopping mall parking lot. We drove my (GC at the time) towards the back of the mall parking lot. Well, let's just say the windows were more foggy than San Francisco in the morning. When all of a sudden, Officer Dibble comes walking up with his flash light on peering in. :22yikes: It was well quite embarassing to say the least. :eek4: He moved us on our way.  :nono:

Hrm, this is a good one. My car has done more bad then good in this category so far. Apperantly girls dont like it when you know more about and pay more attention to a 35 year-old chunk of metal :grinno: It also doesnt help that I spend almost all my money on my car and dont have that money to spend on a girlfriend. I would imagine that after I am done with my car things will change.

My girlfriend is not interested in cars at all and can't understand why I spend all the money I do on them.  She would much rather be spending money on clothes or shopping.   :walkaway:     Hope it never comes down to choosing between the two . . . girlfriend or car??   :22yikes:

I'm with JCWCuda, when I first bought my Cuda my wife hated it.  It's been 3 years now and I know she has warmed up to it a little, but she still not really fond of it.  I think if it had a good paint job she wouldn't mind it but with the body in the condition it is in I think she thinks of it more as a Joe Dirt kind of car.  :(

Ms. Oldschool "tolerates" the Beast.  She is slowly warming up to it.  At least she will ride in it and seems to enjoy it.  Maybe she will like it more when it gets a new paint job.  We shall see.  Been with her too long to chose a car over her.  If she (she wouldn't) wanted to force me to chose between the car and her, there would be one sweet "A" body Hemi Cuda for sale.   :cooldancing:   ...   Oldschool

Hey, that seems to be the same 'problem' I have.  My first crush got mad at me 'cause all I ever did was talk about cars with the guys....A couple years later and now she's into guys with trucks....Go figure!!! ::)
