Well I guess I will be the first one to chime in here and say that I don't think it's worth 25K.  A 74 Challenger with a 318 isn't bringing that kind of money I don't think!  I think a better range would be somewhere under 20K for that car!  Remember I'm only going off what I see in the pics and what you are telling me.  If the car is completely beautifully clean, it may bring more than 20K.   :dunno:

Bob.B,
Even if that car were absolutely mint, it would be tough to bite at that price. We are just going by what you posted, so engine pics, and interior pics, would help more here. Unless you totally can't live without this car, I wouldn't go over 20K either. As was mentioned, we are just going by the pics, and your description. Maybe you know that it is in better shape???  :dunno:

Hey Bob...I have to agree with the other folks.  Way to much for that car.  By the way, what is that script emblem on the vinyl top?

There was never a "custom"   script  lettering for any Challenger .  Probably someone took the "Custom" plate off some old 70's Chevy truck  and slapped it on over the vinyl top.....

I have a 73 Challenger with a 440, very well done and it took great effort to get it insured for $30k.  Using that as my reference, I'd say that it's overpriced for the car as it sits.  But you can look at it another way.  If you found a rough 74 for let's say $5000, would it cost you $20K to get it in the condition you see now? I've spent that much so far on mine and it was pretty decent to begin with. All those little pieces can really add up. It's sucks spending $1500 at Year One and they send you everything you've bought in one medium sized box.

If you're not a body man or just don't want to spend countless hours restoring it, then it may be worth it to you as the sum of it's parts, but not the whole.  If you want it, offer $20k and see if he bites.
