The T/A hood, followed by the bulge.

Shakers look weird on challengers, it just doesnt fit with their lines.

:iagree: for the first time ever I think. lol.

Personally, I would like to see someone try and install a power bulge hood on a challenger. I think the R/T hood would be easier to install.  :grinyes:

I like the R/T hood on all of them, the shaker is very nice on the cudas, the price just seams alot to make it a SHAKER hood.

I'm 50 years old and started buying cudas and challengers in the mid 70's. I've owned 35 or 40 nice e-bodies and still own 3 cudas and one chal convert. I have never heard a cuda hood called a rallye hood and have never heard a Challenger Rallye hood referred to as a bulge or power bulge hood before. I guess things have changed in the last 36 years. Personally,  I'll just keep calling them what I've always called them.
I also own a 69 superbee with a bulge hood and a 70 R/T coronet hood that's referred to as a power bulge hood that I'm converting into a superbird hood for my bird clone.
I still have 4 power bulge hoods left and just 2 rallye hoods left. I may have to slow down on buying cars eventually.  :grinyes:

I have a 70 challenger convertible - used to be a T/A sorta clone - 340 6pak is gone, t/a exhausts are gone, steering column with auto on column gone

I have a white top and interior with the flat black T/A hood the color scheme looks unusually odd

So I am selling the T/A hood and probably going with the shaker hood setup

Hemi is replacing the 340 - anybody interested in the T/A hood?

Must be a regional thing. I have never ever heard anyone call a cuda hood a rallye hood...until now. While cudas did have rallye gauges, there was never a rallye package available on a barracuda, so we just call them cuda hoods. But if you want to call a cuda hood a rallye hood...go for it. Seems a little wierd though.
Besides, my cuda has a shaker and that's all that matters really. lol
My wife has a cuda hood on her 73 cuda and a rallye hood on her 70 chal convert. She doesn't like shaker hoods, but she's kind of partial to 426 hemis for some reason.  :dunno:

Rallye Hood, hands down. The shaker might be alright. Personally, I can't stand T/A hoods, they've never done a thing for me.
