No the block is stock out of a 75 chrysler newport. This way the compression is about 8.2 and I can run pump fuel. In my GTO the compression is 12.5 to 1 and always running race fuel is a little to costly. I never got the original block but luckly went back 5 owners and found the fender tags.

About $310 for a gallon and a half of PPG paint. Yellow and reds are always a little more but the car is bright in the sun. I had enough paint for 3 good coats on the outside and engine compartment. the underside was sprayed flat black and the inside was sprayed with just primer. I used Omni clear for a clear coat ( first time with this product ) I will know how it holds up in a couple of years but It was about half the price of PPG clear.
