Wheel size
« on: February 13, 2006 - 08:19:09 PM »
This may sound stupid, but........ I can't get to my car right now to check, and I need to know what size bolt pattern it has so I can order my wheels. Anyone know the bolt pattern size for a '73 Barracuda?

I'm kinda torn between the Weld 5 spoke and the American Racing 200S. Haven't really fully decided yet.... and with that said, I am going to order them here in the next day or so. With that being said, I even like the rally wheels.......... though I am leaning toward something a little bit different. My car is B5 blue and I've seen pictures on this site of a B5 with rally's, which look really nice. But again, I haven't fully decided.

what size of rims are you looking at? i have 17inch torque thrust which look similar to the 200s rims and they look good on my challenger.

I'm sticking with 15x7's in the front, 15x8's in the rear. With as much tire on the rear as I can safely stuff under the body.

The only problem with 15x8 Rallyes is that you can't get proper fitting trim rings for them.

Just to clarify, they fit but leave a 1" gap. You can't tell from a little distance and your average person wouldn't know the difference. What I'm trying to say is they don't stick out at all, look good.  :naughty:

Thanks for the closeup photo.... I ordered my rally's today and I can live with the gap. Pictures helped make up my mind though, as I was waffling back and forth between the Weld's and the rally's.
Thanks to all who gave me the answers that I needed to get things done.
This is the kind of thing that I really like about this site and all of the mopar nuts who are about

Right now my car is at the body shop. It's promised to be back to my garage by the end of February, so....... Add to that, the fact that I am technologically challenged and don't have the slightest idea as to how to post pictures, I have to say....................well, I'll try to, just to show it off. Frankly, I have been wanting this since I was 30, 20 plus years ago, so I am really chomping at the bit here.

When I get the car, I'll ask for advise on how to post the pics. It's not a show car, but damned if it ain't mine. (uhhh, my wife's too)
