After much deliberation, I have settled on the following truck/trailer combo:

2005 Dodge 2500 --Cummins
2005  Pace  24' enclosed hauler.  What do y'all think?

Looks great Oldschool....pretty similar to my combo...2000 CTD with a 2005 Haulmark 22 foot enclosed.

the pic below was after i pulled thru a snowstorm in WV a few years ago...lots of fun!

Did you get a "jump" door on the drivers side?  makes getting out of the car much easier...although i now winch em in anyway

Very nice!!!!!!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Old, are you using an equalizer setup and sway control?

I'd recommend that if you are not....that a lot of $$ back there inside that trailer...cheap insurance.

my setup is below.

That is good even thought I have never seen a car trailer in person in my life or will ever need one.
That sure looks flash and chunky!!! I like the Dodge Ram.  :naughty:

my setup is below.

No equalizer or sway control.  I used this trailer to go to Wisconsin and pick up the Beast.  Hauled it back to Georgia behind a 3/4 ton Ferd.  No problems at all.  Very smooth both ways--empty and loaded...    :cooldancing:   ...Oldschool

You know without equalizer bars, almost all class 3 hitches are only rated for 5K lbs, with they're rated 10K lbs.

i just figure with the car, truck and trailer I have an investment of over $100K, so the cost of an equalizer and sway setup is cheap insurance.   just my :2cents:

Have you pulled loaded with the cummins yet?  My truck is the earlier 230HP engine, yours is the newer 300+HP version...i bet it really tows well.

Very nice set-up.

I would invest in the equalizer bars though.
