Bumper to Bumper New... After pictures
« on: February 14, 2006 - 05:53:25 PM »
I have finally found a local shop that tells me they can re-chrome my bumpers. This sure will beat paying shipping to send them off to be redone. What should I look for in a quality re-chromeing shop? They said the will triple plate them with a cost of about $225.00 per bumper. Does that sound about right?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I had surgery on my right shoulder about 3 weeks ago and progress has about stopped not to mention it's bitter cold. I have just about everything stripped down except for the dash and than its off to body and paint. I will post some pictures in the next week or so with an update Had a buddy over a couple days ago to help me with getting off the rest of the trim. Just waiting for the body and paint guy to finsh a GTX and than its my turn in the shop.

That's not a bad price for triple plate re-chroming, but the best part is that you are able to use your own bumpers, so you know they're gonna go back on and fit like they should.

What shop did you find??? because I need my rear bumper rechromed. There arent any shops around here that are good, well beside one that is extremely reputable however the prices are EXTREMELY high.

The place is called B&R in Toledo,Ohio 419-536-7215
All I can say right now about them is what they have told me on the phone. I will get my bumpers over this week.

I have a place right down the street that is a big chrome plating place but won't do a small job like a bumper or anything.  Waste of time for them!   :dunno:   Thats not a bad price either, will they do other pieces too I assume??

Definatly update me on how those bumpers come out. I have to head out to Toledo soon to visit some friends so taking the bumper wouldnt be a problem at all.
