You have a point about hemi music...the 71 i just sold with 3 inch TTI exhaust and 40 series flowmasters made it impossible to hear the tunes when drivin.

My 70 has TTI 3 inch with headers, but with the mufflers on it, is fairly quiet.

More and more head units come with an infrared remote.  They make a wired infrared receiver (used in media rooms where the equipment is hidden) that's little more than a black tic-tac.  You could incorporate it somewhere on the dash, and simply run the wire to the trunk where you can have a box to hold the equipment.  That would allow you to control your equipment via the remote without actually being able to touch it and if you also have an Ipod, you won't need to access it to change CD's.

Put 3 1/2" midrange/tweeters into your dash corners (or together on a plate if you only have the center 4x10 opening), use the 6x9 factory openings in the package tray and place a small box firing towards the rear seat.  Better yet, port it through the defroster opening.  This can leave it absolutely stock looking on the inside and still provide modern tunes.

No, I'll be waiting till the car is closer to being finished. That is just one of many I have seen, some are using flash memory cards rather than USB.

I have also seen head units as well as alot of other devices (MP3 players, home stereos, dvd players etc.) with SD/MMC card slots in so you can simply store your music on a card, and as well as not having to carry a clunky ipod around (or have it sliding across the dash and out the window on tight corners) you can play your music on multiple devices without having to purchase all kinds of weird ipod accessories to get them to connect.

You simply unscrew the grill and replace the speaker with a plate to hold the speakers.  You can get some galv. flashing from Home Depot or Lowe's and cut it to size, then cut two holes for the speakers to mount to the plate.  Paint the plate black to keep it from showing. Make sure to put bass blockers on the speakers if you're head unit doesn't have a crossover.  You don't want to blow them.  I'd suggest keeping them above 400 HZ.

there is a radio at Best Buy,, I cant remember the manufacturer(sorry), but It allows you to plug in a usb cable or a Jump drive. I am going to look at this thing again, and will
let you all know my thoughts after a closer look. I may even buy one.

But, at some point some crankin' tunes would be cool.

Just trying to figure out how to do it with the least modifications to the car/looks.
