Years ago i was in the habit of something similar...while waiting in any turn lane for traffic to pass so i could make the turn, as the last vehicle would pass i'd quickly slide my hands on the wheel without actually turning it and lean my body in the direction i was turning with various effects   I'm a good courteous driver now though
