It's really unfair to lump Cuda and Chally hood scoop designs together. What looks good on one E body doesn't necessarilly look good on another. :2cents:

That's why they are separate and you get two votes.  ???

70Challey340 - Thanks for mentioning it, that's why you should vote: "Cuda/Challenger Other"

I only got one vote... how do I ge the 2nd one?

Never mind... I would just be voting for the shaker hood again.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

:lol2: You have to do the 2 votes at the same time and you can only vote once per option.

hello all,
before I vote I need some info from you guys as I don't know the nomenclature as well.
For the cuda I like the hoods like 71340RT's with the dual scoop, as well as for the challenger (such as Rev's) That would be the challenger TA,right?
But for the cuda is it bulge or AAR ?

For the Cuda (71340RT's) that is a bulge and for the Challenger (Rev's) that is also a bulge.

I have a real nice cuda hood that has been cut out behind the scoops. I've never used it on a car though. Might not be too good at keeping the water off of a small block distributor on a rainy day.

Shakers all the way

If this is thread hijacking just let me know, but has anyone opened the scoops on a Cuda Bulge hood?

Hey hotrod98,
I'm sitting here  :roflsmiley: as I remember back when I use to stomp on the gas, I would always get that 2-3 sec hesitation before she took off, no matter what we did. It use to drive me crazy. I still love those hoods though!
thanks

I prefer the visual impact of shakers on both cars the best, although I really enjoy the rally (bulge) hoods as well. However, when it comes to simplicity, the rally hoods have it all over the shakers. I bet there are 50+ nuts/bolts/washers/shims holding a shaker center section together....

shakers are cool. as for the bulge hoods the cuda is the best looking, too bad it wasnt functional.  we're lucky we are'nt limited to flat or cowl induction.

Yep, definitely the bulge hood on the Challenger, beautiful and mean-looking at the same time, and classic lines to boot.

Actually,  9 small bolts plus a wing nut have to be taken off for removal! :eek4:
