    proper door vin sticker location ?

    I have seen them in them in two locations / positions...which is proper for a Hamtramck car?

    It varies some since they were put on by hand. Hamtramck placed them as shown in the top photo, and LA as shown in the bottom photo.

    Yup, B for Hamtramck and E for LA on 1970 E-bodies. No clue on the name, I will look into it.  :1zhelp:

    Hamtramck built a lot of cars for California sale, they were the largest plant.

    All of the cars listed below were built exclusively at Hamtramck;

    E-body covertibles.
    E-body Hemi cars.
    AAR Cudas.
    Challenger T/As.
    All E-bodies from 1971 - 1974.

    They were put on by hand, so locations vary car to car. This shows the intended location, but the actual locations splatter all over the place.
