I grew up with this man calling the sports or hosting the shows my Dad and I would watch.
R.I.P.
Another legedary broadcaster leaves us. What a voice.

He could do it all. I remember him doing football, baseball, Wide World of Sports, and the Olympics.  Very talented sportscaster.  He will be missed.........    :angelwings:      ....    :cooldancing:    ....Oldschool

just seen it on the news leukimia I believe, lived for 86 years

Yea Tropicats.......  I had forgotten about American Sportsman.  I grew up listening to him announcing several venues.   I think of him as the last of the old school sports broadcasters.    He lived a long life and saw him not so long ago on the sports reporters.   I dunno maybe it was a year or more.    But a good man......

another great of the announcers gone. I remember him well growing up. RIP Curt.
