Hello, my name is John and I have a problem
« on: February 21, 2006 - 12:46:08 PM »
You see, I am BIG into Mopars and I just can't get enough. (Ok I can get enough because I only have so much money)  I just can't live without Mopars.  You see I have a 300M, a Jeep Liberty and a built Wrangler.  My pride and joy is my 69 Dodge Charger but I ran into a dilema.  I must start to repair the Charger and that means no more driving it.  The thought of years witout driving a real muscle car was giving me nightmares.  I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, work was starting to fall behind and so on.
Then one  day came where I realized that in the interest of my health and marriage, I should get another muscle car.  My search was on for an E-body and low and behold I got one, 1300 miles later :woohoo:
So I'm new here but not to the car craze.  I have some work to do because a lot of stuff was half assed.  The motor is on the way out so I'll be swapping in a 440, the rear leafs are, well it wouldn't matter if they were there or not, interior isn't so good so I'll do some creative working on that and the trim is banged up in some areas.  Other than that, it is perfect!
And before I get any of this  :useless: I have some for you.  More to come when I clean up my garage so I can work.

For you Jeepers:

Surprisingly, I don't have any images of my Charger anymore?  ???

Anyway, I'll be posting in the forums and searching for tips/tricks and advice.

Is there a conspiracy going on?
Thanks, I can't wait to get working, too bad it is 20* and my heater still isn't installed, I'm a slacker.

Welcome to cuda-challenger.com therapy.     Looks to me like you will fit right in.     I also have a mopar problem . . . I can't go a day without doing something that has to do with MOPARS!  I'm addicted . . . glad MOPARS aren't a controlled substance!   If they were, this is where I probably would be!  - - - >

Hope you enjoy the site!  Sweet looking car!

Wwlcome to the site John. Your project looks like it will give you many hours of enjoyment. My first Mopar muscle car was a 70 Charger RT SE and I wish I still had it. I have had a addiction to Mopar's since the early 80's and have never been able to kick the habit. Hope I never have to as this is one addiction I've grown to enjoy.

Welcome to the site, John!!!  That Challenger looks very nice from the photos and it sounds like you have the right kind of disease....this place isn't the complete cure for your dilemma, but it does serve as a great place to talk to others with the same addiction. :grinyes:

I guess that means we have to change the name of the site to Cudas/Challengers Anonymous.
