Kind of an E body fact...

71-74 B bodies have the same frame from the firewall foreward as the E bodies.

How about ....  one of the original design specifications was that the engine bay had to be able to accomodate all of the engines in the Pentastar inventory - from inline six cylinder to the Hemi, as well as a variety of accessories which include air conditioning and power steering.

that is why the engine is offset to the passenger side. The engine doesnt sit centered in the engine bay.

1971 was the only year that 'cuda's had a 4 headlite system. And, yes, it helps to be totally oblivious to what it costs to buy parts for these cars now.
