TTI Exhaust
« on: February 22, 2006 - 06:17:42 PM »
Hi,

Need a TTI x-pipe system for my 70 Cuda.  Any recommendations as to who to buy from.

Appreciate it.

I know you can purchase the exhaust system directly from TTI, and it seems that pricewise everybody is charging about the same. Hope this helps!

You can buy from National Moparts in Ontario http://www.nationalmoparts.com/ .
Alot of the TTI resellers just get it "dropped shipped" meaning that they do not stock it. In some cases they charge so much for shipping, brokerage and duty that you might as well just buy from TTI directly as you will save a few bucks in the end.  I'm planning on buying a system in the next few weeks too.

I'm in the middle of a rebuild.  My 70 440 cuda has stock exhaust manifold but new pipes/mufflers ( H pipes ).

QUESTION:  can TTI headers be installed w/out relpacing entire system?

Sure but you will need adapters to connect to the existing set-up!

Does summit sell them? I have been buying from summit for about 2 months (not very long).
What I like about Summit is their products have a "When they will ship" date on the description.

Most say "tomorrow" others 3-17-06 I like that idea because you don't have to place your order then wait for them to get back and say...."Hello sir, sorry but ### and #### are out of stock, shell we hold the order till complete?"
That sucks at least with Summit you know straight away............

Just had to add that in.

I just got TTI headers and X-pipe exhaust system, I went through Mancini also, It took about 8-10 days to get them. I don't think you will find a better "bolt on" system.
