well here i am again...i've removed the needle assembly and it looks *fine. i've adjusted the float level in small increments all the way to where the nut no longer catch's on it 'cuz it's screwed in so far.
Checked it at every adjustment and it's always dribbling into the carb...flooding it as soon as the bowl fills back up (i drain the bowl each time to try and keep as much gas outa the intake as possible).
*is it possible the needle/seat just won't seal and needs to be replaced? is it a wear item?
 Even if it "looks" good.
I stuck a probe into the level adjust port and the float goes up and down. what if the float has a leak and is gas logged? does that happen?

If I could get this stopped I think I'll have solved my bog problem.
Oh...CP how do you clean the brass air bleeds? are they removable or poke something through them?
Overall the carbs seem clean in and out....

replace the needle & seat assy
stick a wire into the bleeds & squirt some carb cleaner in there

If you have stock carbs they open with the vacuum of your motor.  Have you done a vacuum check?  Lack of vacuum will cause your problems also.  You can also go to a larger CC accelerator pump.  This can help.  You have progressive linkage on stock carbs.  Is the opening of the carbs timed correctly?

the outboard carbs open from the vacuum created in the veturi of the center carb , the lower nipple is used for the outboard carbs this comes out of the body of the carb , the upper & forward nipple is used for the vacuum advance , this comes off the metering block
