ALERT Stolen 73 Challenger Virginia
« on: February 25, 2006 - 07:57:14 PM »
This car has been FOUND ----CAR STOLEN!!!! 1973 Dodge Challenger red with a white vinyl top. 318 motor automatic Trans  VIN no.JH23G3B464833 all the numbers matched on this car . It has alumicoat mopar headers. The seats are white and have been custom redone by a close friend of mine it looks close to original but it isn't. The headliner is white and has also been redone. The carpet and dash are black. The door panels are white. The choke on the carb broke so a hole has been machined there and a pin inserted to keep the choke from flipping all the way around. There is a dent in the drivers side door ( my ex-husband, yes I'm female, put that there). Also on the back passenger quarter window mopar with the Chrysler emblem was written out in white. I was only the second owner and have owned it for the last 20 years, so the car has been through alot with me(parents death & divorce)and I miss it alot. I want it to be the most known stolen car. It did not run and was stored in The City of Richmond,Virginia. Someone drove up and towed it away. If you have seen my car or know who has it please email me at halory@prodigy.net I will keep your identity confidential. Please Help me get my beloved car back!!!!
Thanks for your help and please get the word out. This car has been found!!!

Man that sucks, that is very sad indeed.....hope you get your car back.  :-[

Keep an eye on eBay and trader stores (local second hand) and any place the thieves may try to sell your parts, if that indeed is what they have done (sure does suck). Being a Challenger it is easier to catch them as there aren't as many Challenger parts out and about as, say, compared to finding your Honda Civic parts.

Good luck in your search, I hope you find your car and the scum.  :villagers:

It would be great to have a picture to connect with the car. Hope you get it back in one piece and the person who stole it gets whats coming to him. I would roll over and just about die if I lost my Challenger or Cuda to a car thief. Hope this ends up helping you get you car back.

Man,what a major bummer. But I'm sure that the cops will look extra hard for you. From past experience, I have found that many cops are Mopar fans. Hope you get er back soon.

The good is that a red Challenger will definitely stick out!  The bad is it's missing right now . .  :walkaway:  Sad welcome to the board as this terrible incident has brought you here in need of some help!  I will definitely put the word out and hopefully someone will spot your car!  Sorry this has happened to you!  I would be sick!  :crying:

Hope we find it soon . . don't forget those pics!  :nono:

Halory

I live in the valley west of Richmond, if a Challenger of any kind floats through here I will check the VIN and some of your details out.

If I were you I would also keep a close eye on ebay.

Sorry about your loss, I hope you or someone here will spot it and get it back to you.
