Yup, I'm serious. Chrysler put millions of the 2.2L turbo motors into cars, [even ones with a variable vane/nozzle on the impeller.]
All those cars sold in the 80's , restored Chrysler to profitability, payed off the loan to the US early, and allowed Chrysler to stay in business 20+ years later !!
And while the 340,440,426 etc. are cool, none of those engines "saved" the company
PLus my former 1986 4 door LeBaron turbo was a great "beater" and pretty quick for a sedan.
