Got the Challenger home
« on: February 26, 2006 - 12:58:26 PM »
Went with some buddies today to pick up my '70 Challenger project.  I was able to crawl under it and really check it out and it seems better than it looked at first.  My local Mopar guru said I got a good deal, I am happy with it.  I took pics, but i couldn't download them to my computer, so if you want to see pics, you have to go  this thread http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=17965.0

Congrats, Moparclown, it is great to have it home, luckily I didn't have to wait very long and it was just a 150 mi. trip to pick it up.

I am not sure what I am going to do with it, it has a lot of problems, so I will probably tear it down and restore it from the ground up.  I can't decide on the color I want though, but I have time to decide.

The frame rails weren't as bad as they look.  They are solid, just surface rust, and the left rear one got dented somehow.  The worst thing is the floor pans.

Here is a pic of it with my 'Cuda

I'm glad you got the Challenger. It will look good sitting next to your cuda once you get it restored. I would of jumped on the project as I'm looking for another Cuda or Challenger right now.

Very nice!   :jumping: :jumping:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
