Ghost you got very very valid point.  :grinyes: Wheres the value gonna be when most of our generation dies off?  :dunno: ....but in the meantime :money:
Ya and how much will it be worth when we run out of gas or it becomes 25 bucks a gallon?NADA! I can think of better investments, even though i would love to have one as stated, not worth more than 50k to me,even if i had the 2 mill to buy one i wouldnt.

 :iagree: totally with moparnut.

If I had the money to buy a 1of 1 HEMI or any HEMI Cuda for say $500,000 I wouldn't just too much money for a car that IMO isn't worth that much. Just over priced. It's similar to Snap-On tools, yeah there tools are "OK" but they don't justify the big prices. All it is is some king dlck lining his pockets....and one brand name.

Other tools preform better anyway....just marketing and adverts which catch the zombies.

:iagree: Snap on prices are outrages and arguably the best tools. I think when it comes down to it, they have such a wide selection of tools and the fact that they offer financing and trucks that travel from shop to shop to sell their tools, is why so many people buy them. At least thats why my father bought snap on his whole life, they make it too easy for him. And nice fancy Snap On tire changers, wheel balancers, hoists, Scanners etc etc looks attractive to clients when you're working on their car.

Guys, unless you turn wrenches for a living I don't think you can give Snap-On  tools and equipment an accurate assesment.

Everyone probably knows, but did ya'll know Blackhawk tools are made by Snap-on?  Snap-on home office is 1/4 mile from where I work, and they have Blackhawk clearly posted on their sign.  Just a little tid bit of info.  If I'm wrong feel free to set me straight!   My part of this hijacking is done....

I turned wrenches my whole life up until about 2 years ago, grew up in a service station. I personally think snap on makes excellent tools and equipment. I've also used numerous diagnostic equipment like their scanner, councillor osciliscope etc, and find it very user friendly. I jsut think they are quite expensive, and probably because they offer financing and garage visits...not to mention an amazing warranty.

You don't need to turn wrenches your whole life to know what a good tool is. You can be a weekend muck about if you want.
Snap-On are good but the best? They just suck people in by their adverts and brain wash the public......

Many tool brands out there are just as good if not better and for 1/4 the price. You pay for what you get this is true but there's a difference between buying top quality tools and lining the pockets of some fat corporate hog.

Every time I see a Snapon Truck I wish I could win one of those free 5 minute shopping sprees.  Just let me loose in the truck for 5 minutes!!!  Mwaahahahahaha!!!!

NZ, You do need to turn wrenches to know what a good tool is and what specials tools are required to do a certain job that hardware store brands don't offer. Mac also makes some good stuff as well.

I have a mixture of craftsman, proto, and snap-on. All are good IMO, but the snap-ons are beautiful!
