New Mopar freak
« on: February 26, 2006 - 11:44:50 PM »
:working:Hi all, just found this site. I have been a Mopar freak for over 20 years. I currently have 6 Mopars not the least are my 70 Challenger RT 440 six pack and my latest project, a 73 AAR clone/road racer. I retired from the US Army about 2 years ago and currently work in the firearms industry, Mopars give me something else to do and takes my mind off of work. At times I think I should sell the Challenger and Cuda and buy a Viper but everytime I look at them I know I am doing the right thing. I am attaching some pics of my cars.

Welcome to the site 70chall440. I also feel my Challenger and Cuda take alot off my mind and help me stay normial what ever that is. I have almost traded my Challenger for a viper but I'm glad thats never happened. I'm just about to complete my 70 340 4-speed Cuda project and can't wait to find another Mopar to work on. Stick around and enjoy the site it has alot to offer and the people here are great about answering question and giving advise.

If you sell those cars for a  "everyone can get one" Viper, I'll fly over to the states and personally slap you. LMAO!

70Chall, Welcome aboard. Glad you found us.  I own a 70 Challenger R/T also, but not near the condition yours is in.  Wow six mopars in this day and age.  I retired from the Navy about threes ago and I am finally getting around to working on the two that I own.

Would like to see more pictures of the other five please!

Almost made the same mistake a few years ago. Was going to trade my 71 red challie convert before it was completed and my gran coupe convert(needing restoration) for a 60's  b-body with a blown hemi. Would have been a huge mistake. Keep your e-bodies and dream about buying a Viper someday.
