70 challenger se 2bbl 318 question?

i was reading up on the challenger SE i never heard of these ones can someone educate me? also if it came in auto could you possible change the whole tranny and motor on it to probably fint a 340 or 440 + 6. thanks,

Leo,  I've had  two of the 70 318 SE's.  VIN should be JH29G0xxxxxxxx.  Basically just a luxury version of the Challenger with overhead console, leather seats, and lots of pretty trim.  If you do an engine swap, make sure you've got a decent rearend - I had a peanut in one of mine and swapped a beefy 360 into it & GRENADED the rear the first tie I pounced on it.  Also, expect to chnge/modify your driveshaft.
