« on: February 27, 2006 - 09:21:58 PM »
Here is the new project I am working on for my boss. Have been away for a little lately due to after ours work on it.

Will be a 71 Hemi Cuda clone. 528 Mopar Crate engine, Keisler 5spd, Strange Dana 60 , Shaker Hood and am still looking for a supplier for a 4 wheel disc brake set-up as this baby will definitely need some whoa with this much go :D

Here are some pics to showcase.  Stripping it for the rotisserie as we speak.

 :bananasmi Looks like fun!

Did you make those wheels in front?  Do they bolt right up to the car?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Generally the castors are made to bolt onto the bumper mounts in the front frame rails

The car's looking great. Can't wait to see it finished. What made you decide not to do the gills in the fenders?
We loved the gilled fenders. I think it was one of the best changes that Plymouth made in 71. That and the 21 piece sharkstooth grille.
My wife made me put gills in her '73 fenders when I built her car so that it would look more like my 71.

Lookin good JS. I'm doing the same thing with my brothers 71. Try Stainless steel Brake Corporation. They have a web site and everything you'll need for all wheel discs.

bolts up where the bumpers brackets bolt to the side of the frame rail, and to where the front spring hanger bolt to the body.

As good as the car looks(it is) It is still coming apart, so you will see the gills, lower rockers and tail panel chrome in the finished results. It is a factory GY3 car to boot!! I noticed today that is still has a factory windshield in it!

just curious, but it seems odd that the lights are still in on the way to the body shop.
Is there a reason? :dunno:

I have a Brake Release handle in my 71. I inquired in here about one becuase the cable broke. Many members emphatically told me that the 71's did not come with them. I found this strange, because my car has an original 48,000 miles on it and it's there. I just noticed yours has one too. Can you tell me if this is a base model barracuda or Gran Coupe? What is the build date on it? Anyone else able to set the record straight?
