just curious, but it seems odd that the lights are still in on the way to the body shop.
Is there a reason? :dunno:

Sun shining on the upper and lower reflective areas of the lenses. If the lights were on, the center areas would be lit up.

edit...oops...misread that question at the office, read it correctly when I got home.

I am leaving them in as the painter will have to have them when the back end is blacked out as a Cuda should be with the chrome trim installed as well.
I have a Brake Release handle in my 71. I inquired in here about one becuase the cable broke. Many members emphatically told me that the 71's did not come with them. I found this strange, because my car has an original 48,000 miles on it and it's there. I just noticed yours has one too. Can you tell me if this is a base model barracuda or Gran Coupe? What is the build date on it? Anyone else able to set the record straight?

You mean they all don't say brake release?? What has the broken cable got to do with the actual park brake mechanism though? :dunno:

I bought the wheels from a local chain store(princess auto) and had the brackets made up by a welder, I think I got almost $400 into them :money:

$400?  I was going to figure $100 tops, was it the wheels that were the expensive parts?

I'm sure those wheels will break off when you come down from the wheel stand.
I may be schizophrenic,

JS27N0B, that's going to be a very nice car judging by how nice it looked already.  Can't wait to see the progress on this mean machine.

More updated photos, phone camera for now though. Back from body being dipped, boy did the doors and fenders come out nice!! looks brand new.

The floor tunnel is in, the fenders have been gilled and the shaker hood created. Car is being assembled again before paint to make sure everything goes together perfectly.

Wow that car is getting a nice overhaul. Is it gonna be ready for the car show next month down there? What color is it being painted?   :droolingbounce:

It was supposed to be ready, but things have been a little slow with the dipping so I got a little breather before reassembly. It is going to be it's original GY3 Curious Yellow again.

Saw the front bumper on today that I got from Gene Gregory, talk about a nice peice!

Is Gene the guy who makes the nice rear louvers? I hear he has nice stuff.

Doesn't look to me like that car needs any body work to begin with!!  Maybe that's the reason!   :grinyes:  :grinyes:
