Prop Valve for Disc swap
« on: February 28, 2006 - 06:08:52 AM »
I got a front disc brake set up from a '74 Challenger for my '70 Barracuda. I purchased the MP adjustable Prop Valve (which I think is a Wilwood for $20 extra for the MP name on it). I have the original KH prop valve from the '74 set up. Some of these prop valves that look similiar say in the catalog 'must be used with original prop valve' does this one need to be?
Maybe they are just talking about using with the Tee which is a given??

Also, anyone have an idea on where this should actually be mounted?

I wanna make the car look nice with the perf extras I have but not look to far outta whack from the orig.

Thanks! Sean

It's located on the inner fender, below the master cylinder on my 73.  Here's a pic.

if you sue the wilwood / Mopar adjustable one in needs to go into the rear brake line to reduce pressure to the rear brakes , , you can mount it down low on the frame rail under the firewall where it si difficult to see
