I couldn't find any info on that part number, but if I understand the numbers right, that cam is pretty darn big. You have the right idea here... cam, intake, carb., and heads are the areas that can help you most. With this cam, and a single plain intake, you will need to go to at least 2500 RPM to get into the power band. At this point, your rear gears come into play. If you have 4:10's, then you are into the power band at 40. If you have 3:23's, you will have to get to 65 to hit that. As for your question of how much horsepower your engine will have... if 155 was stock, then you might be up to 180 or so. Headers would help you out some too. Keep in mind, this engine came from the era when horse power got choked. The low compression ratio hurts you here.
