Beware of CLINT KAYLOR!!!!!!
« on: February 15, 2003 - 09:25:40 PM »
Just thought I would pass this along. I bought a crank off CLINT KAYLOR of Rio Linda, Ca. He claimed it was undamaged and uncracked. I paid $575 for it and received a crank with cracks on all journals. I sent the crank back and he hasn't returned any of my emails or phone calls. This guy is a CROOK and a Liar, beware. His ebay id is onefastsuperbee and his email address is moparsupremist@aol.com Be warned and stay clear of this lowlife!!!!!!

Hey 70rtse, thanks for letting us Ebayers know.  Some guys really don't deserve to be on Ebay.  I've had non-paying bidders and they're the same way; crooked and a waste of our time!  I'll be that I don't bid on anything of his.

So sorry this happened to you. I've been ripped in the past too.

Stick to the guys on the boards if you can...you should be able to find just about anything you need through them...THEY are the true MOPAR enthusiasts.

Best of luck getting your money back, and a new crank!

Mike

I always check people's feedback rating before I buy anything, especially big money items.  If they have negatives or low feedback number, I stay away.  Doing this, I've never been burned...yet.

Rev-It-Up, is that why nobody's bidding on my items? :D  I know what you mean.  That's good that at least one person on this board hasn't been burnt by some crook on Ebay.  I signed up last summer with Ebay to buy some things for my car and sell some parts.  I had five good items sold, but the six one turned out to be a waist of time and gas money figuring out the cost of shipping and e-mailing the guy.  This guy would reply to me all the time, but he never sent me my money.  I knew that something wasn't right because I was supposed to be collecting just a few less than $100.00 from him.  I don't know about you guys, but for a High School student $100.00 is a good amount of money. (Enough for some decent parts for the Chally, at least. ;) )  This guy never sent me anything after I e-mailed him  a few more times.  Talk about a waste of time.  If any of you ever have any Challenger parts on Ebay or are looking for parts, please don't hold my mere 8 positive feedbacks against me. ;)  I know, I need to get more, but some of these Power Sellers aren't really interested in leaving feedback, so I've lost out on about 5 or 6 so far. (I'm known as Charger_01969 on Ebay for the rest of you Ebayers.)  I'll keep an eye out some other crooks in the department of MoPars and post their nickname to ensure the rest of you won't get screwed over.  Again, I'm sorry to hear about that 70rtse.  :(

for those of you who don't know, Rio Linda CA is, as a national radio talkshow host put it, "The armpit of America."  It is an area out of Sacramento CA, but that is the nearest city.  I live in a suburb of Sac, and that place is a total dump, and many of the residents match their surroundings. Personally if I saw the location on that Item, I would have not bid on it for that reason alone.

Buyer BEWARE,

The old saying goes if it sounds to good to be true !!!!

Of course that's not always true. I have gotten some good deals on ebay. I have 36 positive feedbacks out of 36 transactions,  and only got burned once for a silly magnet for $1.49.
I 'am sorry to hear you got ripped off. There are alot of honest people out there but unfortunately some SCUM !
also.
Good Luck in the future.

Hey I'M from Rio Linda! ......Just kidding,  but I do live in Fair Oaks,  which is about a 30 minute drive away. Guess I'll steer clear if I ever meet that guy at a swap meet. Thanks for the heads up and my sympathy for being ripped off by a scumbag.

He's going by moparcarsonly on ebay now. I guess its easy to keep screwing people when you only have to unregister and register again.
