71 Rpo Grille ordered..

 .. Mine will take 1-2 weeks to ship out. Small back order.. I will glady give my honest and candid feedback on the grille and it's fit compared to the original. They tell me they'll be making the grilles for another 3-6 months. But at $499, I had to get my spare.

For me, what really caused me to buy.. is I figure I can paint this grille body color & leave the org argent. Also, I'm seeing these same repos.. being sold for over a grand on ebay..   I guess no one reads Mopar Action? 

They tell me next month they will have the chessegrates.. approx $100 / set. Whether you like repo stuff or not, you have to like how it brings down some of the prices of the originals..    Just a guess, but I've been seeing more 71 valances being sold on Ebay.. I bet that part will be repo'd within a year

It will be interesting to see what you think of the grill. $499 just sounds too good to be true. I hope it isn't 3 inches too long or something.

I called them from the MOPAR ACTION add.. You have to order one & put on the waiting list. Then they contact you for payment. My cost is $608.00 shipped to my door in a box. If you have a 71.. can't imagine not having one. I also want the cheesgrateres when they become available.. the chrome trim is not yet repo'd by anyone.. & I sold an extra set last year... DOH! I'll keep everyone in the loop once I get it.

I'll be the guinne pig on this one.

 :naughty:I bought one about two years ago and it fit the the car great.The only thing is it is a hair smaller  due to shrinkage and the trim that goes around the outside of the grill is really tight and may have to be trimed.I did'nt do that and it stressed it and put a crack in one of the lower corners.Its out of the car now because the car is being painted otherwise I would take some pics.
