383 with 6.76 rods

Found new pistons from Diamond Racing -> std stroke but 6.76 rods

What kind of benefit can I achieve with this combination? Ok, rod ratio is better and piston is lighter but is this really worth of big horsepower numbers?

you may be surprised , adding rod ratio & a lighter piston can make a big difference in ability to RPM & torque output

Don't think you'll see any Higher peak numbers or events, but the overall curves will be much longer. If you were gonna really "wing" the thing, to compensate for the smaller motor, there would be definite benefits.
