Differneces in 440 6 bbl center carbs

Does a 440 6bbl with a four speed take a different center carb than an automatic one?  Do they take the same outboard ones?  I was looking at 4175-1, 4144-1, 4365-1 and wanted to know if they were right for a four speed car.  I am not concerned with them being numbers matching correct.

they are tuned slightly differently as there is a bit more load on the engine at idle with the auto , the secondaries are the same

So, could they just be retuned?  Are they jetted different?  Also did you mean that the secondaries were the same for a four speed and an automatic car or that they were also tuned differently?

the secondaries were rthe same for both 4 spd & auto & yes you can tune the carbs , this should be done anyway

Okay, I got the secondaries down.  One more question then I'm done.  Can the center carb be tuned to run with an automatic or a 4 speed?  No different linkages on it or anything (other than part numbers) to make them look any different?

yes it can be tuned , the linkages etc are the same
