Released Goodmark Challenger Fenders?
« on: March 06, 2006 - 06:39:32 PM »
In the past two days I have seen company starting to sell the Goodmark fenders for the Challengers. Are the available now or is someone jumping the gun again?

I just sent an Email to him. I asked if I could drive up to New Hampshire this week and pick a fender up since I'm from MA. I'll keep ya informed if I hear anything back from the seller. We'll see  :dunno:

I spoke with a Rep from goodmark about 10-14days ago.  They do not yet have the test fit ones in. They expect them this month.  Then they will have to test fit, if it goes well with in 4 months they should be on the market.

If not they need to be re-tooled and with be 12-14 more months.

This was FROM GOODMARK.

What ever is being sold is not a GOODMARK.

If you look at the "The Mopar Shop" link I put up there, it's has a Goodmark part # which matches their part number. ??? As a matter of fact, both sellers are saying they are GoodMark fenders.

Well if you do not want to believe me call them  www.goodmarkindustries.com (I THINK) they have a phone number.  Then you will know for yourself. ::)

I don't mean to get you upset but I just thought it was weird that 2 different companies are selling the fenders at the same time. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.

First, it takes more than that to piss me off.

Second, you, by your post need to know for yourself.  I am fine with that.  I did sepeak with someone last week wednesday.

Finally, You think everyone on ebay is always honest?

I don't know what his problem is, I just wanted to know why companies are already selling them if they are not released yet. :dunno: I know what Goodmark is saying about the fenders but when 2 companies are selling them with Goodmark's part numbers, somethings up.

As far as the guy selling them in NH, he didn't say if he can get them or not or if they are available.I thought there was a rule that you could not sell something on E-Bay if you do not or cannot get them ?

As far as trusting E-Bay sellers, I trust them as far as Goodmark salesmen!

I think Goodmark needs to know about this.  I just cannot believe that they would have told me they are not out yet as I was ready to buy one.

To me these guys cannot have them and telling them they will be drop shipped?  That makes me nervous. :eek7:

I've seen some guys on e-bay do this before. A friend of mine bid on a fiberglass hood and when it didn't show up for a couple of weeks, he called them. Turns out they didn't have the hood... They pre-sold the hood and when they tried to order it from the manufacturer, the manufacturer was out of them. My buddy went ballistic. He was ready to bolt his car together and needed the hood. It took a couple of more weeks to get his money back. It happens a lot.

I had something like that happen to me on E-Bay. It wasn't a car related item, but something some dealer was selling that he obviously didn't have in his inventory yet. It took over 6 weeks to get the item, and that was the only time I ever gave negative feedback to someone. I just got tired of the excuses, when the truth was he was selling something he didn't even have yet.  :villagers:

Guys - the commercial parts counter guy for Galeana CJK in Columbia, SC is a member of our Mopar club. He got a letter from DC stating they have accepted and will continue to add Goodmark sheetmetal panels to DC parts system. What this means is that you will be able to get Challenger (and eventually Cuda assuming Goodmark stays on schedule) panels from your local Dodge dealership. The letter specifically mentioned the R/T hood, rear valence panel, rear quarter and 70-71 front fender. Our club gets 10% above dealer cost on any part Galeana stocks. Life is Good!
