Right now i rebuilt a carter AFB for my 440 but its a trifle to small at 625 cfm feeding a hungry 440. Any suggestions on a relativlely inexpensive carb that is around 750 cfm? I was looking at a certain holley model but wanted to know what you guys thought. Nothing to racey just want it to be a mover and a shaker

Well BG says cubic inches X max rpm shift / by 3456 tells ya what carb to use ...
example
500 CID X 6500 RPM ='s 3250000 / 3456 = 's 940+ CFM's

750 cfm Holley or Edelbrock, whichever you feel more comfortable tuning
