Well they called back and said they didnt have the fork,I guess these are still available from the dealer or other sources?I did buy a "nice" flywheel from the same truck for 35 bucks(already had one but figured a spare would be nice for that price)He isnt charging me anymore freight since he didnt have to fork.He did also measure the hole and its 5 1/8th-ish so its probably the right one.Now my search for the fork............................

Chryco said he had 3 or 4 of those ball type forks on page 4. If you're nice to him, maybe he'll sell you one.

Is this a good bellhousing to pick up. I think I can get it cheap with free shipping, will it work with an OD833.

worth looking ta , it doesn`t list the diameter of the front brg retainer though , it needs to be 4.80 or 5.2 "

Most of the car small block ones I've seen are the small diameter 4.3" front bearing retainers.  Most of the big block ones I've seen have the 4.8' Hole. I have an early big block cast iron one with the 4.3 hole. If it is cheap enough, I would buy it just to keep around since most standard 4-speeds could use it.  Find a truck small block bellhousing with the 5.2" hole and be done with it.
