Just take the 4 bolts off and the bearing retainer comes right off.   Should only be about $20 to turn that down to 4.80". Or better yet, wait till you get a bellhousing and take that there at the same time. Might as well change that seal in it too.

Here is a link to bellhousing numbers. For your next purchase, Ebay or swap meet.

Good luck.

Look at it this way Moparnut. You only paid $69 for it AND you got it. If that guy ever answers you, he'll give you your money back, if not, sell it on Ebay and give him negative feedback. I almost got taken for lots more one time. I bid $9000 on a T-A Challenger that was being spoofed by a guy that got someone elses ebay login and password. Luckily, another poor sucker bid higher that me with 10 seconds left, and won it.  There was no car!  I hear horror stories of people sending money and not getting anything.  Consider yourself very lucky. You are NOT the only one.

I bought a rebuilt clutch for a Cuda I'm selling from AutoZone.com. The 10.5 pressure plate was $35 and the disk was $17. Talk about cheap! But like I said, I"M SELLING IT".   That clutch of yours is a good price but if you plan on doing some smokey burnouts get a street/strip clutch.
I've had some Raybestos organic rear brakes on my tow vehicle that got so hot and hard after 2 years that they chattered like crazy when I tapped the brakes.  That cheaper clutch material might do the same thing after a few thousand miles.  It's up to you. Isn't that one you're building a keeper?

Dont' bid on it unless you want to keep the topic of this thread alive. That's a smaller one to stay away from.  One of my bell housings, for a big block, has that smaller hole (about 4-1/4") and I have and 833 4sp trans to match it. Small bearing retainer  and small bearing, I think it was used before '68.
