NOT my ad, I saw this posted in CL earlier this morning. Don't know how much Camaro convertibles are worth, so I can't decide if I should laugh or not.  Interesting that it is a A/C car.

Did he say it was originally a 318 or that it was a 340 originally and now has a 318? Either way it isn't worth 35k... at least not to me. Maybe if it was a numbers matching 340 4 speed convertible in that shape.

Seeing ads like that and the crap on eBay doesn't make me very optimistic about finding a '71 that isn't a rip off when it comes time to buy one. *sigh*

Was a 340... long gone.  Now a 318.  He did start at $37,500 :roflsmiley:

The guy must have hit his head on the dash. 35,000-37,500? Non matching motor, lesser motor, judging by the outside the interior probably isn't much better. I would love to see the passenger side which he seemed to cover up parking a foot away from the building. He needs to drop a zero of the end, how about more like $3,750?

Grill is long gone ($$$$$) and did any Cuda's come with the flat hood?  I'll bet this car has been picked over real good!

Its idiots like this that keep me from getting a car. I could and would buy that car... but the price is obscene!

Under $10,000 - slightly overpriced, but reasonable.

Under $5,000 - I would have cash in hand.

I would have paid 12K.  What does everyone else think it's worth?
