    I'm going, but 71340RT I thought the concert/after party at the Cannery was on Friday night.. am I wrong? Gotta plan this this stuff out, as I am staying on the strip.

    I think the Al Jardine show is on Saturday night, the Moparts breakfast is saturday morning, and I'm gonna mob on Scott at Harms Auto's booth on friday near closing time.

    And here's one way to remember everyone's screen names.... a little dorky, but what are ya gonna do?  We don't have hats yet.... 

    Just print this out, scrawl your name on there, and hang in one of those clear plastic i.d. badge doohickies, preferably where the sun DOES shine! 

    BTW:  Keep an eye on this forum thread, and post your meeting plans here so we can all hook up somehow!

    Friday night is the cruise at the cannery at 6:00pm. Saturday night is the cruise and AL Jardine concert at the Cannery starting at 7:00 and playing till 9:00. I'll be at the cannery Saturday night for sure and at the track Saturday. The cc.com id badge is a great idea. I'm staying on the strip and will also have to make my plans as time will fly by like it has the last 2 years i've been at Vegas for Mopars at the strip.

    I heard there is an awesome go kart track, Polaris and Tropicana. 200cc machines that fly, maybe we need to get a race going? LOL

    Man, I got a LOAD of stuff from YearOne today.... new carpet, seatbacks, convert boot cover, emblems, front valence insert, and weatherstrips.  The Cuda is in the shop getting the trans rebuilt, the 3" TTI exhaust and DynoMax super turbos installed, bent strut rod replaced, new master cylinder (brakes were so grabby my mechanic described the car as "deadly"), and generally brought up to snuff (I hope) for a 1200 mile road trip.  All that in three days!  Talk about overhaulin'!

    Wish me luck getting it all together in time to leave LA for Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon.....  I WILL NOT MISS THE CRUISE!

    So the Cuda comes back from the shop with a rebuilt trans, my new TTI's 3-inch setup installed, to meet up with the new carpet and emblems, and as I'm ripping the seats out for a 24-hour overhaul and preparing for a massive MATS roadtrip......

    Work calls me and reschedules a whole big steamin' pile right exactly when the Phoenix-to-Vegas cruise is occurring!

     :crying:

    Can't get out of it, so I figure I'll be there a day late...

    Then my realtor calls and we've found our dream house and it already has an offer on it so I've got to make an offer NOW....

    Can't get out of it, so I figure I'll be there two days late...

    Then there's a multiple counter-offer situation occurring, and I've got to go to the realtor's office NOW for more paperwork...

    Can't get out of it, so I figure I'll be there three days late...

    Then I realize I never put the seats, console, dash bezel, or carpet back in the Cuda!

    So I figure I'll be one year late...

     :crying:

    It was a total bust.  Failure to launch indeed!  I hope y'all had fun....grrrrr.... But at least Van Nuys Spring Fling is only 8 miles away...
