Cuda doors... same all four years?
« on: March 11, 2006 - 07:56:04 PM »
Here's a question:  Are Cuda doors the same for all four years, and can be interchanged at will?

My passenger door has only one of the 2inch catwhisker window guides, at the inside top edge at the rear of the door.  On the driver's side it has two, but it looks as though there is room for a third.  The pass door definitely is NOT a mirror image of the driver's door, in terms of mounting locations for these things...  Is that normal, or do I have a 74 pass door that is somehow different?  If I need a new door, can I grab any one from any year?  What differences do I need to watch out for?

Thanks! :dunno:

This is a question about whiskers and I do know the answer to that one.
In 1970 on one side,.. the one facing you, the whisker is put on with screws. From 71 on they had clips that fit the whisker assembly into slots that are on the sheet metal of the door.
