I had one shipped to me and got it just fine. The guy built a box out of 1"x6" boards and 7/16" OSB, then set the glass in with a piece of styrofoam in the middle to kind of center it in the box. He then filled in the corners with the expanding type spray foam insulation and let it set up. Worked great!

To the best of my knowledge no one is making new rear glass for the Cuda or Challenger. At the time I got mine (about 4 years ago) I found a new one at a wharehouse in Phoenix. The guy wanted $600.00 for it! :22yikes:

Hi. I sometimes go on this forum to let people know what is available within the glass industry. The back windows have been remade for both the Challenger & Barracuda models as well as the side glass. Some we stock, some we can supply thru other vendors who ahd it produced. The back window for the Barracuda is $453 in clear or factory green tint. they have been produced laminated not tempered like the originals. These are shipped truck freight , properly packaged and insured.
Glass is not a big deal to ship safely if you are in the industry. Wesend dozens of windows worldwide every week with very little breakage. Glass is boxed in custom designed windshield type boxes or banded in side crates on skids depending on the size of the order.
Anyone looking for glass feel free to email us at  richardt@prosourceglassintl.com
Thanks,
Richard

New glass is out there from other sources too at about the same price.  www.musclecityglass is one source but I actually got mine locally from a glass place so no shipping.  You of course don't get the date coding but I recall there is at least one place out there that is even licensed to do that now too.

http://www.oemglass.net/date_coding.html (not the one I recall seeing but must do it too)

Muscle City doesn't carry any glass, he just orders it from other vendors, sometimes from us..
OEM Glass in IL I think is still licensed to do the Chrysler logo etching..
If anyone ever wants to put together a group purchase as a club or companies, we ship free freight for as little as 8 windshields or combination of sets.

I have 2 rear glass pieces out of 70 and 71 cuda.  I'm moving from CA to TX in a couple of weeks and really don't want to pack them.  Let me know if your still looking and where you are.

I'm actually now looking for a complete set of glass. Front, driver side, driver quarter and rear glass in a green tint.

Anyone have all these new?

I don't believe I have a set of green glass, but I bought a complete set of glass for my 70 cuda from Muscle City Glass, it was a nightmare working w/ them, it took over 6 mnths after several mistakes to get it right...I bought a second set for my 71 cuda from PS Auto Glass 866-565-9557.  They delivered on time ( 2weeks ) and everything went smooth.  $1400 for a complete set all around, delivered.

Keep in mind we can ship worldwide, most of our deliveries are within 7-10 days in the continental USA.  Make sure  wherever you buy your auto glass that they stand behind it if damaged in transit or fit problems.. there was some glass made in US in the past couple of years not fitting properly. It has been rectified..
We also have some earlier Cuda and Challenger glass in stock or available..even a little NOS out there but not much.
