I Just May Be Plumcrazy!
« on: March 12, 2006 - 10:37:16 AM »
I just like doing things over and over again. NOT!!! But, there is a reason and here it is.
Here's just a little timeline of where this was going and where it is now.

Spent a lot of time getting the engine removed, rebuilding the suspension and K frame assembly, installing it back in the car again only to remove it all and start over so I could change to the color that was really in my heart all along.

Engine and steering removed, working on the steering and suspension, K frame etc.

Steering, disc brakes, K frame all installed.

Just isn't in my heart to go with the yellow, steering removed and getting ready to change the color.

Ahhhhh, Plumcrazy, just what I always wanted. PS, thanks April / SS for the inspiration!

Glen,

It looks great. I think we might be twins separated at birth. I have re-done far too many things recently.  :banghead:

Thanks for the comments everyone, high impact is right, it should stand out a little when done, I believe there are just a few others around here who like the plum paint too. Although I like all of the rest, guess I just got attached to the Plum more than the others. I'll probably install the engine and make it so I can at least start it once in a while as I finish the rest of the car, not sure if I will get it drivable or not for a while but want to be able to run the engine once in a while just to keep it fresh. If that little white pup doesn't settle down a notch or two, I may take you up on that April, she's full of pee and vinegar for sure! Love her too much already to really do that but she is one wild little pup, she puts the boys to shame!
