My first post here. I saw something in the parkinglot here at work today that stirred memories of days gone by for me. I hadn't seen a car quite like this one since my high school days almost 30 years ago.
Now I don't know enough about these babies to know if it was absolutely authentic, but the car looked beautiful, immaculate, either fully restored or?
It was a Dodge Challenger, R/T markings, convertible, 426 hemi badges, if all of that was authentic it had to be a 1970 if my limited knowledge of these vehicles is correct. Burnt orange with black stripes. Black roll cage, black interior, black top, just one absolutely awe inspiring car and a throw back to a bygone era.
I should have snapped some pics with my cell phone but they would have been crappy. Parked where it was in our executive parking lot it must have belonged to one of the higher ups in our building.
Only question I have is out of curiosities sake - what is such a car worth in todays market? I grew up like many of you in the time when lots of spoiled rich kids drove such cars as these to school. That time is long gone but the memories aren't.

Found out more about her. She is indeed original. Only her engine has been rebuilt. She is owned by the founder/owner of my company. In over a year I've never seen him drive this car to work. Usually his "mad" day car is his Ferarri...I like this one much, much more!
Thanks,
