Front eyebrow spoilers
« on: March 13, 2006 - 08:10:53 PM »
I just bought a pair of front eyebrow spoilers for my 71 Challenger. Question is, does anyone know exactly where they should be mounted on the front valance?  I looked through the engineering drawings at Barry's Hamtramck Registry site but if it's there I didn't see it.

basically they mount close to the turn signal light , if you go too far it will not sit right  ti will leave a gap in the middle

Funny that you posted this because I was cleaning the garage today and found the a set that were soppose to be mounted on my dad's car months ago. He didnt mount them because we didnt know where they went exactly. If you get the measurements, please post them so I can start drilling.

That is correct.  I just eye-balled mine, but you can't get too far to the outside or the turn signal hump in the valance gets in your way.

Chryco... I unblocked it.  Thanks.

Thanks for the pic Mike, also looks like you're limited up and down by the turn signals too, is that true?

Not so much so there. It's just that if you have them too high on the panel, they don't look right. The angle just doesn't work. If you play around with them a little, you'll see what I mean.

we basically mounted the set right at the back of the valance , on the rear edge
