3 Sets of 71-74 Cuda/Challenger Painted Mirrors (With Pics)
« on: March 15, 2006 - 03:36:54 PM »
I have three sets of painted mirrors for sale that I just restored.  I can also do any color that you would like to match your car.  The price is $300 per set.  All mirrors have been taken apart, stripped, painted and given new glass.  Any questions, e-mail me at ericamyv@velocity.net.   Thanks  Eric     I can e-mail you a picture.

70 is all by itself.  Nothing is interchangeable.  None of the parts from 71-74 will bolt up to a 70 head.  There are 2 screws on the 71 and 1 on the 70.

It's the '70 passenger head that is different and held to the base with one screw. The base still hooks to the door with 2 screws.

I was looking at a 71 Duster in a junkyard a couple of weeks back. There was a door stuffed inside the car that had a mirror which looked like an e-body mirror but with a longer base.  Does that sound right?

Yes, the passenger side 71/72 a-body sport mirrior is the same head as the 70 e-body passenger sport mirror.  Change the base and wahlah - instant e-body mirror.  The bases are kind of readily available.
