The tournament is a whole nother animal.  The all seem to step it up a FEW notches when they get in the NCAAs.  It's tough basketball, Iowa is still a very good team.

Yeah, I agree with Romi. The Hawks had way to many turnovers and had a 17 point lead with ten minutes to go. But you talk about a PRAYER being answered, that final shot by N.W. was a gift from god. Still, they beat the Hawks and power to them. (THEY'LL NEED IT) :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:

To add insult to injury, my Spartans just got beat by "GEORGE MASON" ! ! ! ! !
I'll be glad to see Paul Davis graduate, we need fresh faces at MSU.

a little Steve Alford trivia....

...Steve graduated from  Walter P. Chrysler High in 1983, right here in New Castle, In.
after graduation he worked at a local bank for the summer and my wife was his supervisor....still cracks me up that he worked anywhere that summer, but I think Sam(his dad) made him...Steves' father in law, Archie, was a longtime Chrysler employee at the local Chrysler plant and an avid MOPAR collector....Archie owned several Challenger convertibles including a pair of 71 Pace Cars, and a huge 68-69 Imperial conv.....Archie went with me to the first MOPAR Nationals I ever attended, it was at the Indy 500 Speedway way back in 83-84....I took my 69 Dodge Daytona, Archie the Imperial and we had another half dozen or so local MOPARS tag along....good times...
